Yes, it is. My desktop box has VC6, VS2002, VS2003 and VS2005 co-existing quite happily. :cool: As far as porting goes, yes it will be an issue, but hopefully not an insurmountable one. The port from VC6 to VS2002 is the big one...after that it gets easier. With VS2005 you'll also have to deal with conformant for-scoping rules though....that's a new default, although you can (but shouldn't!) turn it off. If you can get a clean lint analysis of your code with a strict warning policy you will have a head start. If that isn't practical, just take your time and start porting at the bottom of your project dependencies.
