What do you mean? If you have Forms Authentication then there is no need for extra code. You just have to set the Machine Key to be the same and make sure some of the settings on the Authentication tag are the same. This is of course possible in any Edition. If you want a document library for anybody you can define a WebSiteCollection with public access or login access. There you can setup a library with public access of course.
