What do you mean by "lately?" Microsoft has never released a working product, and has consistently lowered quality standards for the entire industry. They were the first to sell software that doesn't work, then have the gall to charge for updates. They were the first to eliminate manuals. They were the first to charge for telephone support for their defective "products." They set the standard for non-performance that all modern software companies now profit from following. You are welcome! Definitely check out the meaningful threads in your prog and the callstack on which python calls your C++ code. Without that you are just blindly navigating in fog... Check out the bottom of the callstack that calls into python when the breakpoint in Test() fires. If you are good then it is the very same (Main) thread that you are using. Still interference with other threads as the result of bad threading design can be evil when it comes to unpredictable program state used by your Do().

The fact that they used a provider pattern makes sense and I have no problem with that aspect. However, the idea that the component can only model Trees is a bit limited. Many sites typically have more complex connectivity then a tree is able to describe. Any resolution to this will always seem forced and cumbersome. :| nothing

Let me rephrase this. From a clients computer how can we get the changes made to the dom objects persist if that is the intended action? I want the server to do as little as possible and make the client machine do most of the work. nothing
