I started using PHP w/ PDT and I feel like, to some degree, that Microsoft's tools are bloated, but I have become attached to C#/VB.net/T-SQL and the ease at which (after you learn how to use it of coarse) it inter-communicates. I think Microsoft did something right with the CLR of .net and will always be there for business professionals who want a supplied product. There are pros and cons both ways, in reality it comes down to the skills that have been obtained through experience and the ability to adapt to new projects. But if you are trying to learn .net after already knowing PHP or classic asp, get ready to pull your hair out, it's a brain duster! K-BL ASP.Net meets JQuery... Imagine the possibilities.

I find that debugging in TFS unit testing after running starting the main program is problematic. I find that I either have to close VS2008 down and start over or bring up task manger and remove VsTestHost.exe then restart debugging my TFS unit test. I just need to remember that before debugging my unit tests, I cannot press F5, F10, or F11. What happens is that the test host starts up and the test goes to the pending state, but not to the inprogress state. I need to kill the test host application and re-run/debug the unit test.

I say the quantifiability of plausible is infinitely deniable and neither is it enumerable, in other words its a singularity, but don't tell Microsoft otherwise they'll hit us all with breach of copyright claims.

If you don't know them, don't rate 'em :). Some of these have come originally from the Microsoft VSIP (Visual Studio Industry Partners) database, and the vendor might not have updated the info.

I've wanted to make something like this for security. Ever since I had a plant nicked from my front yard. The culprit lived across the road and was silly enough to put it in his window, but still I had to go to court because he was adamant it was his all along, despite photographic evidence. If I had motion-detector video recording and infra-red based lighting, the matter wouldn't have gotten past the defence lawyers desk... And if the lights had come on as soon as the perpetrator entered the yard, then I suspect the plant would never have gone missing either...
