Are there any methods available in Diagnostics or other class that will output the function name when it is entered/left? I need to trace execution through some spaghetti code I've inherited, and I'm hoping to avoid hand-coding enter/leave WriteLines.

I've been given the job to update a legacy VB app to include image display on a form. I'm trying to find out if VB 2005 has built-in support for displaying these image types: jpg, gif, bmp, and png. Or do I need to get a third-party image library? Thanks!

I think leppie has it right - the original author is the owner. By giving him an answer that you knew he would misinterpret, you disrespected him. Being deceitful to team members might be satisfying to you, but will have the expected impact on the way others trust you, whether you were following SOP or not.

I think this is a cautionary tale to those who want to try the same thing here on CP. There are simply too many morons here for a wiki to ever work - you would have to spend a good part of each day undoing the nonsense.
