Why your F# evangelism isn't working -
Hmmm....I now have two second interviews coming...Same situation here.. Some years back I applied at a company, and had to go through 4 interviews, and a test, and I didn't even get it! and it wasn't even a very good job! Nerve wracking, and I am searching again and not looking forward to the process.. Best thing is to just go, be yourself, relax, be open minded, try to get a sense of the work environment, the people, try your best and hope for a good outcome.. good luck!

Five reasons half of you will be freelancers in 2020I sometimes think that the world in a hundred years will be much like it was in that old Charlton Heston movie 'Soylent Green'.. minus the people eating.. I hope ;o)

Five reasons half of you will be freelancers in 2020I read that; the article makes it out to be the best thing that ever happened.. the reality though, is that the vast majority of these 'contractors', make very little money, are disposable labor with no benefits and no security. The model is being adopted as a means of circumventing labor laws and placing all of the control in the hands of the employer..

Sad day. Sold my old 1954 Ariel MotorbikeI don't know if its been mentioned, but how about 650cc Triumph TR6 Trophy, Steve McQueen's bike from the great escape? If it were me though, can't beat an old Indian..

Do you live in Canadia? Do you value your privacy? That is truly pathetic.. but that's what happens when people elect the conservatives with a majority. They're all just pretending to be Rush Limbaugh idolaters to appease their masters in Washington. Next election, they will have to go..

So want some of these! (Nano Quadcopter Swarm)Fly a swarm into a board meeting and chase the managers around, (maybe they could fire little taser darts too..) It's like a dream come true..

Clickable tooltipThat's a thought.. I'll try it out thanks

Clickable tooltipHey Pete, Do you mean scrap the custom control all together?
-
Clickable tooltipIf only it were that easy.. I have tried deriving the control from other elements, but if you use the tooltip in a standard way, (as below), it does not work correctly. I have managed to get this working using capture and manipulating mouse input, good enough for now unless another solution becomes available.. thanks
<Button.ToolTip> <vht:vhToolTip HasDropShadow="True" Opacity="0.9" Header="Test Header: Tip 3" Hyperlink="http://www.the-noc.net" Text="this is just a bunch of tooltip text" ImageSource="/Images/13.ico" HasCloseButton="True" HyperlinkClicked="vhToolTip\_HyperlinkClicked"/> </Button.ToolTip> </Button>

Clickable tooltipI am making a custom tooltip control, (derived ftom tooltip), and wondering if there is some simple way to make the tip clickable, (url and close button). I have managed to 'fake' it, using mouse capture and previewmousemove, but wondering if there was an easier way? Thanks, j
