They say you have two great days with boat ownership: The day you buy it, and the day you sell it! Joking apart, given your location, why not buy a sailing dinghy and learn to sail? It's reasonably easy to grasp the basics after which it's a skill you can improve at for a lifetime. And keeps you fitter than you might expect (depending on how high performance the boat is)

Reading a quotation...Is it a case that parts of it are simple (but not correct) and other parts are correct (but not simple)

Monty PythonIf someone has to explain to you why it's funny, it stops being funny! For me, it was a bunch of very clever people observing life and putting a different spin on it. It was absolutely ground breaking in its day because it was a new and unique form of comedy that appealed to a generation. To be fair, it was also very experimental, so although it is revered now by those who remember it and appreciated it in the context of its time, equally there was a lot of it that didn't really work and was quietly forgotten.

webhosting for dotnet applicationsI have a couple of .net applications hosted on http://appharbor.com and I can't recommend it highly enough. If your requirements are simple you may even get away with using their free options, but if not it remains cheap, versatile and scalable

Need cheap Azure AccountIf you want a free alternative to Azure, try AppHarbor [^] I have no connection with them other than that I've had an ASP site on there for about 4 years now and I can't recommend them highly enough. Takes you about 10 minutes to sign up and create an app which it creates as a Git repository. Commit your code to it and their build server does the rest. If your app builds it publishes it to their cloud hosting. There are tons of free add-ons for SQL Server, Email, Message Queues etc
