I had couple of Usb drives and couple of External drives. They got mixed together. what this means is that UsB2.0 external drive will ONLY WOrk with USB 2.0 Cable- those that have Ferrites in them. I ended up buying 2 TB drive( Segate- freeagent) in the process. The old drive is perfectly working with USB 2.0 cable. So the moral of the story- Check your USB Cable for Ferraites- if you want USB 2.0 operation. Cheers

I am working on Acer 5050 Laptop with External 500 GB Sata Drive. The problem is the USB drive works in Usb 1.1 Mode only. It does not operate on USb 2.0 Mode . How Do I update the USB controller driver? All help will be appreciated. Cheers

I have a usb/estata external box generic type that works in USB 1.1 and fails in USB 2.0. It has Sega 500GB Internal drive. Any suggestions. I have spent quite a bit of time with it. Here are the details 1.0 Segate Sata drive - 500GB/7200PRM 2.0 Laptop tried on Acer 5050/Dell Insperion 1320 3.0 Dell Vostro desktop 4.0 The Box is using JM Micron USB chipset. When I disable the USB-PCI bridge it works in Usb 1.1. mode. If I enable the bridge , the system complains that the USB device has malfunctioned/Unknown device. It is Help/ suggestions?

I have couple of clients and I plan to demonstrate progress of projects using hosted Asp.net server. What is the best way to accomplish this. Any recommendations. I have so far used Win-2008 server with hamachi-vpn , but they are slow( uplink is slow) and do not reflect symmetric 10MB connection that are common now. Cheers.
