Evolution doesn't just stop working...its always happening. You should really know more about a subject before you say something like that.

I did extra credit and we could use either scratch or game maker. I found gamemaker way to confusing I personally would recommend Scratch. In game maker I spent 2 hours looking at tutorials before i decided it wasnt worth the time. In scratch I spent maybe 15 minutes and made a fairly simple game.

I would start with Scratch. i think its scratch.mit.edu. It allows for immediate results but gives them the very basic knowledge needed for programming. If they are into that move onto Phrogram. Then I would probably do java or c#.

Well Im proud to say that the course I am taking is teaching programming. Our tests consist of solving problems by creating a program from scratch on paper.

So I have been working on teaching myself XNA game programming using C#. Next quarter I have a free space in my schedule finally and was considering taking a programming class. My school doesn't offer C# so my question is would java or C++ be more help for me when it comes to c# programming? Hope that makes sense.

The 360 is awesome. It has a wide selection of great games. Xbox Live is a lot of fun. Marketplace allows you to buy all sorts of new stuff for your games. The ps3 wasn't worth the money in my opinion. I have to use my computer for many other things besides gaming so I can't buy too many Pc games as they quickly take up memory.
