Right click on the project in the solution explorer tab. Click "Properties". Go to the "Build" tab. Click "Advanced". (Vs2005/20008 only I believe) The "Debug Info" option controls whether symbols are generated or not. This option is dependant on the active configuration. You will need to set it independently for each configuration you have set up (Debug, Release etc) Simon

Thanks for your response. That solved the problem completely. I created a LList.cpp file, which I didn't treat as a header, I added the template definitions to the header and it worked perfectly. Thanks again for your response! -Ken

I figured out the answer thanks to another user's post on a particular article here. To access a password protected database you can add another part to the connection string. I added this to the end of it and it works like a charm. jet OLEDB:Database Password=mypassword; I'm not sure why the password needs to be listed twice, but it seems to work. I also had issues doing this with Toolbox>Data>OleDbConnection wizard that matched my results pretty well. Hardcoding the connection string with that added fixes it though. -Ken

Yes! It may have some problems running on NT/2000/XP, but that is rare. I still have to occasionaly update code written to run on Windows 3.1. The only problems we have had with it are related to serial communications, and that may be a security issue as only 1 or 2 customers have ever had a problem. INTP
