Hi, Ive just Deployed my new web service to the main company IIS using a deployment app and it installed ok, the IIS has the .NET Framework installed. When I try and add a web reference to another project by browse to service1.asmx page it brings up the windows download file dialogue.... everything has worked a treat so far, my last hurdle:(( any thoughts? So, Ive passed the @userid to the sqlDataAdapter and filled a dataset ie myData with the results. How do I now get at the data in the DataSet myData ive just created????? Hi Chaps Little problem but its simple:- Is there a way of deploying and creating web services without being a local administrator because our ITS department are a bit of a control freaks and hey are 'unhappy' about us being local admins of our own pcs? Hi guys I had a dialogue box app in VC++6 and then built it in VC++7 it asked me if i wanted to reformat the project and i pressed yes and built it in VC7, all was ok until i tried to run the app on a win98 machine, the CFileDialog would not work on a 98 machine it works on a 2000 machine :confused: I then got a new app in VC7 and put CFileDialog in it but it worked on a 98 machine im at a loss :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: Wudan Master

alternatively i have just thought, Make a second app and get that to delete the first, waiting for the first one to delete. Therefore you will be left with the second app. Which is just there to remove the first and contains no info. alternatively again make a batch file :laugh:
