  • AWS Certification Question
    L linuxjr

Richard, Thank you for your assistance. I did check the link and just didn't go through a a couple of pages as just for me it was about 2 or 3 pages of testing facilities or places around where I live to get in class training which I can't do at the moment as recovering from reconstructive ankle surgery which is why I was asking about online and book options. I got my ideas of what I need to take and what to go for.

Thank you for your time answering the question and I am making my own choices as I said researching trying to figure it out. Do you know of any good online resources/books by chance to help study and hopefully pass the first time? Again thank you for your time.

  • AWS Certification Question
    L linuxjr

Hello Everyone, I hope you all are doing well. I wanted to ask the community for some advice while I'm researching which one to pursue. I wanted to ask for a developer which one of the AWS certifications would be a good one to start with and what online options/books in your opinion would be helpful for me to sign up/read to pass the certification. Thank you all for your time and have a wonderful day.

You can close it yourself by doing the following below 1. Look in the top right of this page, and hover the mouse over your username. 2. From the menu that appears, select "My Settings". 3. The settings page is organised into tabs: pick the "Privacy" tab. 4. Near the middle of the page, under "Account Status" there is a checkbox "Close my account" 5. Check this, and a dialog will appear: "Are you sure? Once you deactivate your account you will lose access to your posts, articles and data." Select "OK". 6. Now check the "Forget me. Forever." box under "Forget me Forever", and OK the dialog that appears. 7. Make sure "I have read and agree to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for this site" is also checked, and press the "Save my Settings" button. 8. Your account is gone.

I agree there is a difference and I did in my design update the c: drive to a bigger ssd as to accommodate the OS and potential any other files that will get copied to the c drive if I were to install programs on other drives and such.

Thank you for taking the time to respond. Very useful information to consider before my final selection of parts as still tweaking and verifying everything should work together before I pull the trigger on my purchases. I have thought about a linux OS just despite my username I haven't played with linux in a while and not sure which OS would be a good one to try. I have to look up John's posts as I know he's been sharing some tips about his migration to linux from Windows. Again thank you and have a great day.

Always happens when people talking about hardware that others go I want to buy some too :). If you don't mind which brand do you select for the PCI nvME SSD as I'm reading up on those and tempted to get one.

I have used both intel and amd just as John mentioned I'm going with AMD as I can get a good processor and the savings is allowing me to go for the extra memory and hard drives.

A valid point which is why I was seeking help to be sure I was on the right path. I'm taking a little longer to review the specs on everything to make sure they should all play nicely as you said if something is not compatible then I will be a sad camper. Have a great day.
