Why introduce a completely different voting system only to report users/messages which should not belong to CodeProject? If you want to have a open and transparent voting system, then why not start with the Q&A and articles as well where everyone can see who has given a particular vote (be it positive or negative). I see a lot of opinions in this thread where people support the transparency. But please keep in mind that these are the bunch of matured and dedicated members of this site. Not every user of your 10 million user base would think same. What about having a group/setting where you can specify if you want to have your name openly published that you have reported a particular user. That way you are providing the users with an option where they can chose if they want to keep their vote private or public.

That Was Weird, ContinuedI am still ending up at domain.com around 80% of times. And the weird thing is that now I even see the domain.com advertisement on CP. http://manasbhardwaj.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/CP_Domain.png[^]

Reporting Black Magic QuestionsMost of the black magic questions are clear enough from the subject itself in the Quick Answers List, but still to report them I need to open them, scroll to the bottom of question and then click report. Considering the amount of black magic kind of questions we seem, won't it be more usefull to add a Report button on the question list itself?

Closed QuestionThe "Reported By" test in the closed questions does not seem to be correct. For one of the closed questions (see link below), it shows "Kornfeld Eliyahu Peter". Now, I am not sure if this is just a UI error or this user was able to vote twice. a variable like n=234 result is 2+3+4=9 in c# Screenshot: http://i60.tinypic.com/160x9he.jpg

More protectorsCount me in as well as a volunteer. I am really sick of the "Watch Online Movies" post these days.

SpammersAlthough we don't see much spams in CodeProject, there is this one black magic expert who is really getting on my nerves. Every other day, I see he posts half a dozen messages in a short span of time. I understand that it's difficult to built a perfect spam detector but would it a be good idea to prevent some one to post only a certain number of questions in a time-window. So for e.g. I should be limited to post only 1-2 questions in a span of 15 minutes. What do you think?

Workspace for Blog Feed ProjectI am not sure of this is very transparent to the users and if it all has been mentioned in FAQs etc. So, there is a technical blog in CodeProject pulled from my blog. Creating Word documents in .Net using Docentric Toolkit[^] But it appeared that there is also a workspace for this technical blog containing the project which I uploaded on my blog (and not in CodeProject). https://workspaces.codeproject.com/manasbhardwaj/creating-mail-merge-documents-in-net-using-docentr/code[^] So, somehow CodeProject detected that there was a project on my blog post and downloaded it to put in workspace? I am not against it but it should be made more visible and clear.

Latest DiscussionsNot exactly a bug, but you might to want to consider and it's annoying to see such crappy content on home page. So, I opened the home page and wanted to look at Latest News, Discussions etc. And what I see is this. Latest Discussions[^] However when I clicked on the links, it appeared that they were deleted from the CodeProject but Home Page still was showing them. Btw, shouldn't there be some kind of smart filter which decides what goes to home page.

Insufficient permission to delete.I wanted to delete this question (SPAM) from the forum. [SPAM] TV Spam; please report on the spammer's account to remove it[^] Even though on the right side of the page, it says that I have permissions to edit or delete this question. I got the following error while deleting? Insufficient permission to delete. Is this intentional or am I missing something?

Log off from other placesWhy do I see this button on someone else's profile as well? It appears to the user that we can log him/her off from other places.
