Also, for security reasons, the airlines have to stay within a certain range of airports capable of handling such a large aircraft in case of an emergency. That's another reason why they don't fly straight across any large amounts of water - no place to go in case of e.g. total engine failure..... ============================= Marc Scheuner, Berne, Switzerland m.scheuner - at - inova.ch May The Source Be With You!

Print feature for CodeProject articlesWhy is it that if I want to print one of the many great articles on CodeProject, I always have to first switch to the print view, and then actually print the page?? If I click on the "Print Version" for an article, it's only because I want to print it - why can't CodeProject start the printing right away? That'd be the way I expect it to work (like on many other sites, e.g. MSDN and others). ============================= Marc Scheuner, Bern, Switzerland m.scheuner - at - inova.ch May The Source Be With You!

Region defaultsWhat I'd really love to see is if I could define whether or not a region in my C# code should be expanded or collapsed by default, when the file is being loaded. E.g. I'd like to make all the regions generated by the VS.NET IDE collapsed by default (the "InitializeComponents" methods), but my own regions, I might want to have some expanded by default (e.g. for "public methods" and "private member variables"), while other should be collapsed by default. Currently, we can only expand/collapse all regions - not very helpful! There should be a command to revert back to the default, too. And the state of a region (whether it's collapsed or expanded) should be persisted between editing sessions, IMHO). ================================== Marc Scheuner, Bern, Switzerland m.scheuner - at - inova.ch May The Source Be With You!

Borland targets .Net developers>>I wonder how many employees left in that company. According to finance.yahoo.com, at last count, 1158 - mind you, that's not counting the newly acquired folks from BoldSoft, TogetherSoft, and Starbase Corp. Borland is doing very well, has been profitable for the past several quarters, has lots of cash in the bank - it's a very healthy, and very capable company. I for one am looking forward to Delphi for .NET and the Borland IDE for .NET - BIG TIME! Marc (the Swiss one)

Borland targets .Net developersTheir products *ARE STILL* by far the best - Delphi kicks butt, neither VC++ nor VB even come CLOSE..... Can't wait to see and use their .NET IDE - VS.NET sucks big time...... And Borland is very healthy, very profitable - good things will be coming from Scotts Valley! Marc (the Swiss one) :-)
