I've been following the development of Grimrock and it looks cool. Hopefully I'll get to it soon. I may or may not play D3... it all depends upon finances and mood. For my buck, I've playing Planet Calypso (previously Entropia Universe, which was previously Project Entropia) again and enjoying the new graphics and other changes they made to the game. I've probably been playing this one off and on for 7 years or more. I also have a heavy time investment in Minecraft. It may not be totally retro, but the blocky graphics are decidedly old-school, plus it's cheap and still fun after a year of near constant play.

ASP Development Environment - ToolsAbsolutely correct. Even full version Visual Studio 2010 still has the Intellisense for VBScript, and the HTML validation is very good. The deployment features of VS are fine, or you can use FileZilla for FTP transfers.

Anybody out there using a standing desk or a TrekDesk?Very cool, thank you! IF I ever manage to get one build, be it Ikea or wire shelf, I'll post the methods and parts list.

Anybody out there using a standing desk or a TrekDesk?I've been planning on building a standing desk myself out of the various wire shelves and poles from an organizing store and I could never get the cost below $200. I'd be curious to see your parts list from Ikea. The bar is a great idea! Wish I'd thought of it! Now that you have, I'll add it to my parts list. Still nowhere near under $200 but isn't that what a tax return is for?

Absolutely. If you're in it for: A) Money B) Recognition ... then go do something else. In fact, A) and B) are poor reasons to get into ANYTHING. I think you'll find the majority of people who are successful in any pursuit including programming got into it for the love of the craft. Money and recognition are side-effects of a passion, not to be confused with the passion itself.
Best point I've seen in this yet! Thanks Max! Recognition comes from people in the field, not from your friends and family, and you won't get that from writing a whiney follow-up to a confusing post.
