I'm doing something similar right now actually... Working on creating a GUI library and engine using DirectX that is designable. You have to implement IComponent in your class (deriving from Component is a quick way to do this) because the DesignerHost (service provided and used by VS.NET) utilizes sites (ISite), which are the basis of components. Then you have to specify an IRootDesigner-implementing class in a DesignerAttribute for you IComponent class. You can try using ComponentDocumentDesigner for that if you don't need any custom designer stuff. Also check out an article/sample named ShapeLibrary that gives a nice easy example of utilizing design-time services in .NET. You could try using Panels. Panels are just container controls that host other controls. You would make a panel and populate it with the buttons, listboxes, etc for the first view. Then make a panel for the second view, populate that and so on. Then using your menus you can make each panel visible or invisible depending on the menu item clicked. Strange, that is the same about of time I have been without work. I have only been watching the job sites though since there are no jobs in my local area (small city in southern Oregon). I still in progress on a couple projects from past employment and project that will only make money once finished and they happen to sell some of them to a limited market. Oh well.. There are some sites that I cannot remember at the moment which you can join to get health care benifits and they handle all the billing and marketing you are some large percentage. You might do a search for those if that interests you. For me, I am a coder, designer and consultant, not a sales person. My marketing abilty is right there below zero :) Something that may be stupid, but I have been thinking of lately, is running a few ads in the surounding cities help wanted or business opportunities for people who want to make money. When they contact me I inform them of my services and see if they would be interested in pimpping me to their local area businesses with a 20% referral fee (I figure I would spend at least that in advertising my services). Once I find the most energized person, I will give them that area and if I receive any contracts from that area, I would pay them the referral. It should at least get my name in front of people that matter and open a door to come in and show them my skill. Rocky Moore <><
