I haven't seen any for it; but reviews of it's high end sibling the 1520 complained that instead of being an all more small stuff for young geeks with good eyes or an all large print for old people phablet that WP8 ended up being a mishmash of the two paradigms that was unlikely to make either group happy. Supposedly the next WP update is going to fix this; but I'd be cautious about buying a WP8 phablet until I knew which way they went (or if they made it user configurable). I've heard that 8.1 will have VPN support. And I love the updates to Glance introduced in Black.

It just how you use it.... Both can be used just like a a sharepoint, just to store your files and have a single changeset-checkin id ot track changes... If you only care about storage and share SNV could be the best option, cause you don't need to install Visual Studio to access it.... but then the integraton with your Development IDE can be a pain. If you want to have more tracking, tickets and better contront on version and branches it's better to use TFS, it integrates all in one single IDE, ok you can add third party solution to your SVN and get the same but then you need to maintain 2 products.... So, both are good, at the end it's it just how you use and what can you pay for... (SVN with Trac is beautiful)

You can use WebClient class or WebRequest to post data to another site. There are lots of samples online. There are only 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't.

We have a single OOB app, a dashboard and app launcher. It has to launch Excel, word, Silverlight, Access and a couple of more esoteric apps. That can't be done in a browser. We have it set up so it prompts the user to install on the desktop and auto updates, no clickonce. Other than that I see no requirement for OOB Silverlight apps. It is nice to be able to get rid of all the browser crap surrounding the app without maximising the app (F11). Never underestimate the power of human stupidity RAH
