Maybe its a good thing i didn't give it a try today, my first thought was that the 'cummings' was inspired by the person described in a post from yesterday.. http://www.codeproject.com/Lounge.aspx?msg=3684036#xx3684036xx[^]

Datetimepicker: manual inputI've been googling a while for this, but haven't found anything useful.. When a user wants to enter a date manually in a datetimepicker (dateformat short), instead of selecting a certain date, the cursor stays endlessly in the monthfield. The user has to type a "/" or press the cursor right to go to the dayfield and yearfield to type the date. I was wondering if there is a simple way of changing this behavior so the user can enter the date without having to press the cursor right button, and just input the numbers. (thus typing "10102010" instead of "10/10/2010") I can't use a masked textbox because i don't want to lose the calendarfuncionality. Does anyone have any experience with this? or are there controls available with this functionality? Thanks in advance.

Why a certain company's recruitment team sucks todayDan_Martin wrote:
I know there are Perl programmers out there who delight in producing obfuscated code that takes up as few lines as possible but I've always preferred to write programs that are clear and easy to understand. I guess that means I'm no Perl guru.
I know people who can write complete sentences on codeproject forums in only a few letters (yes rly  ). But that doesn't make one a language guru. Be happy you didn't get the job. If the recruitment team has that kind of attitude, only imagine what people you would be working with. Don't give up searching, you'll find a job you will like.
