actually this was asked to me in an interview.. and my answer was to clear all the session variables on the page_init; he told that is there some kind of markup in the page which does this thing of skipping the session values for a single page... so is there any other way around...

when you run your application from visual studio, it does not run within IIS. see what the address looks like. The simples solution is publish your application to your local IIS, then users can get to it by http://your_machine_name/your_application_name from within your network. my datagridview has a dataset. i tried by adding the dataset to the crystal reports from the wizard and its showing the data in the dataset. but all i need is that my dataset is having a query which shows only a part of the data rather than all the data in the database. so i need a way to call the query from the dataset.. thankyou..

Imagine that one of the processes on the computer goes banana's. I know that it's unusual, since Windows is such a stable platform, but for arguments sake, let's imagine that there is a virus-checker on your system and that it's gone into an infinite loop, eating away 100% cpu time. ..and the virus-scanner starts when Windows start, rendering your machine useless. That's why we have a task-manager :) I are troll :)
