Go for it. As long as you explain clearly what you are trying to solve, and present the code in a clear and informative way it should get people looking at it. It could provide the answer to problems that other people are having and help them. Why not do a WinForms version and a WPF version? I finally found info yesterday that one is allowed to have shared files in the All Users/Application Data provided that one makes a subdirectory and sets its permisions so that all users can write to them. if one creates a subdirectory of All Users/Application Data, it's OK to make that folder world writeable and store shared files there. I found this in the specs for the "Designed For Windows XP" logo, which required a lot of links to reach and quite a bit of reading once I had it. Nathan Holt
