Hi everyone, I have three OS's on my system Xp,server 2003 Pack2 and Vista now I want to delete and reinstall these Os's of my system,my drivers are NTFS.When I was trying to boot my system with driver A: I cant format any drive and it shows me c: or d: are not exist how can I do it?

Well my harddisk is new and its wetern digital 500GB SATA2 I scaned my harddisk with some tools and the result was your hard disk has good performance(did you have these parameters for your harddisk)

"A parity error was detected on \Device\Ide\IdePort0." "An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk0\D during a paging operation." I searched on the Internet and I saw most people have this problem and I think they could'nt to find problem so today I installed windows xp pack2 on the Virtual PC 2007 and went to see Events on the Event Viewver(at Virtual pc) but I saw this error "An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk0\D during a paging operation." on the Virtual Machine now I want to know is this problem of windows or its of my computer? Can you see event viewver on your computer does your system register these errors or no,please? Thanks

I dont get this error repeated I get this error when I want to run a program or when I want to sacan my harddisk with Anivirus I get this error on the XP pack2 on the XP pack1 when I want to uninstall a program or delete some files my computer is freezed but on the Vista I can delete files. And another question do you have any idea about graphic driver that windows shows me this device has problem but when I restart it,it doesnt show any problem

Thanks Mike for your transparent answer does graphic card culprit for this problem or vista 64Bit (I bought this computer 3 or 4 months ago but I have this error of 1 months ago) So you think this problem is of hardware and not sotftware,right?

Hi everyone, I got these errors at Event Viewver and I must be wait about 3 or 4 minutes for loading Windows "The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk0\D." I searched on the internet and saw people had this problem but I couldnt find any helpful answer for myself I scaned my harddisk with some tools and they didnt find any problem on the harddisk this problem is very wonderful for me for example when I turn on my computer and after boot up and loading windows I see that windows cant detect my graphic card and when I want to install graphic driver it hangs. Harddisk is Western digital(500GB) and Motherboard P35-DS3R and graphic Leadteck 8600GTS and OS xp2(I saw these errors on other windows)

Thank you I dont decide to buy CD drive but I was not sure does DVD drive can read CDs or no but now Im sure it cans. GREEN is Power supply of course I heared that ACbel is good power. For Graphic I want to work with 3dMAx on the xp and Vista and also I dont want that it uses of main memory of system ,I think 8800GT needs to a motherboard with PCIexpress 2.0 and I think I must wait for X38 chipset fot these motherboards,right?.

I want to use XP and vista and a question if I buy a 17" CRT with resolution=1600x1200 is better or a 19" LCD with resolution=1280x1024?
