Indian IT is so boring man. They hire you and assign you some tasks, only those taska you have to do everyday, You are not allowed to do anything else. EVen if you are doing something in VC++, everyday you have to do specific tasks in particular range in VC++. So leave looking at java , dot net.. If they assign you for that group then think about it. ;( They make your windows of brains shut. Thats why very few products are built in India. Boring . Tell which company in india help in this regards. I can try for a job there.

Thanks Christan, I will try as you said. But in India, sometime office politics comes into play. No metter how better code you write but credit goes to others. Giving my best is not a problem. Also I think I am lazy in attitude who tends or wants more to relaxing things.. I work hard but end of the day think like I have not relaxed today. I understand I have a problem.. working on it buddy.

I really dont like my superior asking me status of the work done, or asking when can the job be done.. or work overtime or come on saturdays to work. I dont like to take orders. It seems I can not work as a team. feal lonely out there. have become less communicative.. I just hate to work so much for such a small amount in India. I need more money. more freedom. flexible working hours. Want to spend time with my family. may be fixed to 8 a day. I hate to travel in public buses daily and looking at tense faces everyday (that includes mine too) from the same IT field. All are so robotic in office. fake smiles. too much formalities. even members from opposit sex are so boring. seems like everybody has lost their libidos. looks like after 10 years , their would be so much diebetic, blood pressure and heart and hyper tension . patients . joke apart but i dont like the environment but I like programming. do anyone has same sentiments.. how can I improve my approach. any opinions... -- modified at 4:04 Thursday 24th August, 2006

Just recently joined a new company but my profile has been changed to development to peoplesoft vertical. They will train and all. As some might be aware that I was out of job so had to accept this. I miss mfc, c++ side.. wanted to be in dot net. and will miss codeproject for sure. I am planning to keep updating with dotnet and visit to CP whenever possible and make a switch in future if suitable.

Sorry , I will not be working actually .. i will be visiting and performing development activities in .net But thing is I dont know much about dot net but still this company wants to send me to USA so wanted to ask you if it can be risky to my career. I am confident I can catch up dot net.. but being an experienced guy is a different story. and thing is you can not fool americans. sooner or later they can find I am not that experienced. if the I am working in indian circle there then it can be safer, somebody can help me out in development.

I have upto visual C++ experience and some familiarity with c# and vb.net and I have multiple entry B1 USA visa.. Just a company here in india called me up and they told me by this month end you have to fly to USA they just conducted some technical interview majority of the questions I could not answer they wanted a dot net person. They told me you have to fly by this month end to USA.. They will give some crash course on framme work and asp.net , remoting GAC etc.. what do you think.. its ok to go.. or experience is must.
