She may be lucky to get the cost of the laptop back. All repairs are done with an assumtion that you have a backup. :-D

South Africa is about 6.50 rands.(exchange rate at the moment $1=R7.20) OK only about 90 us cents, but if you only earn about $1000pm(R7000) it seems more. Petrol prices have increased here going from R2/litre 4 years ago. Its getting so that walking is best. Its a pity I stay 30km from work LOL
