I am also not living with my family and doing a job in a city which is not my hometown. For food i mostly go outside. I have tried to cook food by myself for a month in the past but do not continue as i do not find it worth. i keep some packed food at home every time in case i can't go out due to weather or some other reason. Money wise you can say if you prepare a food at home you can save 20% as compare to eating food outside but at the same time you have to compromise with the time factor which you give to prepare the food.

Finally after downloading some update yesterday i got the get windows 10 symbol on my home pc. i am using windows 7 pro and professionally i need only vs 2010 and sql server 2008 r2 as per my current type of work (which will be continue for the next two years i guess) and personally i only use ms office , vlc player and NFS most wanted and browsers. After reading the pros and cons of windows 10 discussed in the recent posts, i am still confused should i click on that button or not?

after spending few years in the IT industry now i got a chance to interview new candidates in my company. Basically, now my opinion will also taken into account by management in selecting new people. I would like to get some tips from you guys that apart from technical knowledge, what key points should i focus ? Till now i only gave interviews but did not take any.

as a freelancer ,in a normal situation they charge hourly or fix rate per project but sometimes came a situation when the issue is very critical but the solution is very simple , like a small change in web config file or just modify some select query. basically you hardly need 2 to 5 mins to solve things. in such condition, how would you suggest to charge to client? P.S. skip the situation where he/she is your regular client and you have a good relation with him/her so you would do it for free or nominal price.

we as a software developer get more chance to work with global customers as compare to other industry, different native language may be a problem sometimes for better communication but is it okay to reject some talented person just because he/she is not good with other languages? he/she is strong in doing what he is assign to do but with less good communication skills. According to you how much weightage should be given to such soft skills in overall development of a candidate?
