On my SharePoint site , if I search for word : Microsoft , it gives me results but if I look for : Microsoft Technet , it doesn't give me any results because word:Technet is not on site ,But as per my understanding it should look for Microsoft if I search for Microsoft Technet.So basically its looking for all the words in search query and if it doesn't find any of the work , it will not give me any results. Same issue hapenning on all the sites on server , --i am using OOTB search functionality. --No evet error is been thrown. SharePoint : MOSS 2007 , SP2 SQL : SQL 2008 Any suggestions ?

If enable SSID , i am able to connect ... i know i need to change some registry setting but dont know which one ... i am also able to connect my laptop with hidden SSID so access point is working fine ...

By any chance are you BELLSOUTH or AT&T customer ,as its known issue with their server and with few of other ISPs ...... Some time its latency issue and some time messages can't be delevered at all. So if u AT&T customer, i have nothing to suggest.:rolleyes: But if you are not then just try to send the message without using outlook express and i m sure it should work..... in case if you recieve any error message plz do let me know i m sure i will take care of that......... you can also try following : Open Outlook Express, and click Tools Then click on Accounts Then click on your connection and click Properties Then click Advanced On this screen remove the checks from the boxes This server requires a secure connection for both Outgoing mail (SMTP) and Incoming mail (POP3). best of luck .....:rose:

hi, to access my wireless camera i m doing ip passthrough for my wireless camera in my router , after doing that i m not able to ing my ip add ( WAN ) from outside my network , when i disable ip passthrough again i m ableto ping my wan ip ... i m using westell 327 router.. . i m doing something wrong . & what it has to do with my WAN side ip add. plz suggest me.... rituparn....

one of my cust is using IBM globle intranet , prerequsit is that he should be conneted with internet to use this intranet , cust is able to use intranet sites but not able to connect with yahoo or google ??? he is getting valid ip add provided by IBM server , subnet mask is 255.255.0.0 wats went wronge , can it be an issue with ISP ?? or is there any network computer settings which i m missing ?? rituparn:confused:

hey u know .... problem has been automatically fixed....:-D but i would like to let u know..that i tried continious pinging 4.2.2.2 , and the responce was 2 reply...:)2 lost...:(2 reply...:)2 lost....:(and so on...i tried for 40 responces and it was all same...:doh: i went out for couple of days....when i came back...every thing running fine..... but i m still not able to understand this DA VINCY CODE...will do some reserch on it... hope will find the exact reason.....:-> thanks for yr co-operation ..... :rose:

plzz help me tru this.... i m not able to ping 4.2.2.2 successfully---- 2 success / 2 loss---always i m able to surf all other web pages however getting the problem only in ebay.com i m confused---tried to powercycle , configured browser , tcp/ip tack clearing -- all done still no go.....it could not be issue with server as i can open the web sites from my neighbours computer.........is it comp issue or ISP or some setting.. thanks in advance.... rituparn.............

hey ! u know i hv tried with safe mode with networking ----still no go firewall is also disbled.... i havent touched registry settings yet... can it be an issue...:confused: i m not very techy about registry sort of thing .. if u find it registry issue .. let me know in bit detail... i m not in hurrry :zzz: .. so take your time thanks in advance :rose:

i m connected with internet....getting proper public ip add.....able to ping yahoo & google sites.....but when tried to open these websites with internet explorer v-6 --- page can not be displayed.. i m using winXp... i have tried with MY COMPUTER window---no go i have tried with mozilla----no go tried to powercycle the entire network --- reseted the router----no go internet is working fine with other computers... i m using D-LINK router...and 2 windows Xp....it was working fine from last 1 year.... is it serious issue or do i need to do some settings.....:doh: will appreciate any comments...

check with the version of IE , if its 7 ... u need to do all the browser settings... ver 7 required some more settings....if its lower version... try to delete cookies , files and clear history....

yuuuuhoooo , another LINKSYS isssue . i think sebastian had picked up very goood point about channel...most of the time it shoud work ...but just in case if no go ... follow these steps : open LINKSYS set up page in wireless tab--- 1)put the channel as 11 2)change ssid---make it as simple as u can ---abcdef 3)disable the wireless security go to advance wireless settings : 4)make becon interval as 100 5)RTS : 2304 6)fragmentation :2304 7)DTIM : if 1 select 3 , if 3 select 1 8)Frame Burst: Enable make sure every time u make any changes in any page ---click on save settings if its the router settings issue -- yr problem is solved if still no go --- we need to upgrade the firmware for the router from LINKSYS site....:rose:
