I created an MFC ActiveX Control with VC++ Wizard. Compiled it without changing anything. Created a webpage, put it in (it draws an ellipse).Now drag the horz scrollbar, the image inside the activeX control is teared and dragged terribly. It even draws the border on the surface of activeX control. how to avoid this flickering.

im new to ActiveX controls. In fact, I just wrote my first ActiveX control using the MFC ActiveX control wizard. It works fine, but when I embed it in a web page, IE gives me a security dialog saying This page provides potentially unsafe information to an ActiveX control. Your current security settings prohibit running controls in this manner. As a result, this page may not display correctly. Changing IE's security level worked, but there must be a better way. How can I make my ActiveX control more trustworthy? As far as I know, I could sign it, but certificates aren't free. What are my choices? What are the tools?

I am not sure of how to do this, since normally all window creation is done via InitInstance. But since I have a dialog based app as the "main window" so to speak, I am not sure how to proceed. Do I need to create a new CWinApp derived class, or what ?I have a dialog, that contains a button. When the user clicks this button, I need to create a new frame window, with a splitter pane splitting the main window into two. The dialog invoking this new window should know if the window is closed.
