I don't think you're missing anything - but that's why I also stick to the limit through average cameras! However - I stick to the limit as measured by a) my GPS device, and b) the average speed functionality in my car's trip computer - those two agree and indicate a higher speed (by 3-4 mph) than the speedometer, so that's what I stick to. I've had Virgin broadband and phone calls for the last 15 months at £10 per month and had no problems apart from the connection being throttled at peak times (all within their documented throttling policy). I was going to switch to PlusNet to avoid the connection throttling but Virgin have just released a new unlimited unthrottled service so I'm staying with them and have switched my line rental to them as well. £35 a month for the first 6 months and £41 a month after that which gets me 8Mb broadband, anytime uk calls and line rental (no more BT:)).
