Unable to make article available. This is still happening. It Seems that the article is saved just fine, if I go read it. But its status is not made available with the new update, like it is still stuck in 2008 that nobody watches. Any ideas?

I just got my new win 11 custom built workstation and I frigging love it. I was very afraid at first having horrible upgrade experiences in the past. So far I like the fact that the start button in the center and everything is pin able either to task bar or start bar. I am now at the large single monitor and having start in the center rather than bottom left removes strain from me eye balling it. VS 2022 installed seamlessly and Office 2021 64 bit installed and works great. I was able to pull down few older Git Hub projects, for test purposes, and rebuilding them nearly without a glitch with a single modification to an environment variable. I am still somewhat confused to the Account Settings though. I prefer to run on a non admin account as it lowers my chances of executing a malicious downloaded code. However what I see now is either full Admin account settings or non Admin account (denied of any installations privileges) settings. On Win 10 I was able to tweak a standard user account to install but still be under non admin privilege. But all in all I did not see any show stopping items and even with current setup I can do what needs to be done.

VB.NET, C#.NET, and C++.NET all generate the same MSIL assembly. So it is just down to the language preference at this point as the net result is 100% identical in speed and in most cases in program structure. C++.NET is quiet interesting though as it also allows STL containers to be used.

This can easily happen if RAM got fragmented from too many allocations and deallocations. Usually best solution in this case is to increase size of your page swap file. Should be 4 times of physical memory (make sure the value is in the power of 2).

If you formatted the drive - it is clean. What shred refers to is to deletion. Deleted files and folders are not actually removed. Deletion does not destroy the data itself. It only flips the flag in a file table that this particular data sector is no longer needed and can be overwritten should the drive volume get low. If the drive volume never gets low then the data which is not overwritten remains there perpetually and can be recovered. Byte 0 in FAT table: value 0x00 = unallocated and 0xE5 = deleted

This was somewhere in the text and they can be 99% correct until they go out of business, their hardware may end up sold without the data deleted. I've heard someone acquired a workstation that had an old MS Access database with around 5000 SSNs, names and addresses. So I wouldn't bet a buck on this
