Each of us find many things about R# that are useful. It has some rough edges such as when dealing with the code behing ASP.NET forms, however the greatest problem is just that there are not enough instruction videos on all features of R#.

Some of us program in C# or VB.NET not in C++ and with the need to economise on space on the C drive, components like C++ within Visual Studio get deselected.

I tried to install the enormous fix file. Windows Update failed to install it, so I ran it manually and it gave "VC Libraries QFE Patch does not apply, or is blocked by another condition on your system. Please click the link below for more details." The link only suggested that my installer was out of date. Updated it (again) but still the same message. I suspect that as I do not have C++ installed there are no components to update.

I have 4 Gb of RAM for 32-bit box. Next machine for me will be a 64-bit with at least 8Gb of RAM. As you afford to upgrade, should you upgrade? To 8Gb definitely! Please check your motherboard specifications to check if it can go to 12 Gb. Also there may be an O/A limit as I recall that Home Vista is limited to 8Gb, whereas Pro Vista will go to 16Gb.

Normally I can access www.codeproject.com from Firefox with no problem, however this morning, I get "Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete." Has something changed on this site in the last 8 h-10 hours?
