We are currently using VS 2005. I want to create Project Templates for several project types we use. Currently we start a new project by copying an existing one and then doing the search and replace thing. Before I spend any time on this I want to know if I am going to have to redo a significant amount of work if I create Project Templates in VS 2005 and then try and use them when we migrate to VS 2008 or VS 2010.
