It is the recommended way for SharePoint 2010 CRUD according to "SharePoint 2010 Dev with VS2010" by E. Carter et al. I use it and love having some of that back end taken care of (and i've really grown to like Linq). but as someone else said i use straight up SQL when the going gets tough.

When (or not) did you learn about the Sieve of EratosthenesI learned about the Sieve of Eratosthenes in my naive past after i thought i had come up with a novel approach at finding primes since you could use part of this sieve approach to compute primes in parallel (don't get me started). When i found out it was just a modified version of his sieve I fell into depression and never tried to do anything novel again. J/K...but seriously.

Coffee Time, How Do You Take Yours?Try the starbucks blonde coffee (i forget what it's called). Run in, order a tall blonde coffee and say it's because you like your coffee like you like your women. The barista will roll their eyes like they've heard it 1000 times before, but i assure you, they are laughing on the inside. But typically i agree that drinking the regular starbucks coffee...it taste like it was strained through an old boot and mixed with tar.
