Hi Everybody, I boot from 2 hdd (raid0)a windows 2000 server OS. It's loading, and then appears a blue screen with the error: STOP: c0000218. The file \systemroot\system32\config\SOFTWARE is missing or damaged. How can I solve this. And also, how can i see what files are on the harddisks in MS-DOS or something? Because they are RAID, i can't see nothing with fdisk or startup diks or something like that. I just want to avoit reinstalling, because there are many things already setup that i don't know exactly how to do them again. Thanks a lot! Bogdan

Hey, Thank you for your help. What disk should i use) I tried win98 stratup disk, and then fdisk, but there is no option for active hdd. Should i use the option with active partition? Works that for disks as well? If not, then what disk should I use? The Installation CD, as far as I know, doesn't have such on option like fdisk. Thanks a lot! Bogdan

Hey Mike, Thanks for your idea. I have q question though. I tried Dave's way, but it can't see the installation (see my reply to dave). I have a diks of the RAID controller, that has the driver. Is this the disk to use (and if yes, how? boot, or some other way?), or should it be another disk? Regards, Bogdan

Hi dave, Thanks for your answer. Unfortunally, this way didn't work. Once i choose the Repair option, it can't find any installation of a Windows Server, so the only option i have is to cancel or to go back. That's why i can't get to the Recovery Console screen. Take care! Bogdan

Hello, I have a server with Win2000 Server, which has two RAID harddisks mirrored. I guess one of the harddisks crashed, because when it boots i get the blue screedn with the error "BOOT_DEVICE_INACCESSIBLE". I tried to boot only from one harddisk, but it doesn't work. Since it's mirrored, i should be able to boot from the other harddisk and so i don't loose any data. My question is how to do that? Should i reconfigure some RAID options?

Hi Sebastian, thank you for your answer. However, i asked because i was trying to connect to the server using remote desktop connection, and it doesn't work. In the error message is is written that one possible cause could be the fact te remote desktop is not enabled.

I saw on other server that there is a section "terminal services" in control panel, which i don't have. I 've downloaded the patch from microsoft.com, and when i try to install it. it sais that the service pack version is more recent then the patch. So, then how do i get the virus out? Hi, i have a project that uses a crystal report file. So i link this file to my access database and everythings is ok. But after creating the setup project and intalling it, the report is opening, there is no error, but there is no data in it. My guess is that here isn't anymore a connection with the database (because the setup changed the path or something). Does anone has any idea what this could be and how can i fix it? I'm trying to solve this problem for 2 weeks now and...no results so far. Thanks!

Hi, I have a crystal report that i'm trying to connect to a Access database, which is password protected. Without the password everything works, but when the database is password protected i can't add the database to the report, The error is: "Logon failed. Source: Microsoft Jet Databse Engine. Description:The application couldn't start. The Informationsdata for the group are missing or are exclusiv opened by an other user". Does anyone knows what I'm doing wrong? Thank you!

Hello, I have a C# project with a Microsoft Access Database and a Crystal Reports file. I've put the database in the Debug directory, so that after creating the setup, the program finds the database in the curent directory. The problem is with the report file. So, after creating and installing the setup, the report loads, but the fields from the report are empty (the fields are the database columns). So my guess is that after the setup, the report file doesn't find the database anymore. where can i change the path to the database (but not in the report wizard, somewhere in the code). Or maybe someone had already this problem and knows the solution. Thanks in advance!

Hi everybody, I have a form with a listview, among other stuff, and a "print" button. What i want to do is like having a template, and each time i print something, depending in what i've selected from the listview, i have to replace some text in that document with the value of the selected item in the list view. But if a change something on one of the computers (for exemple adding a file inone folder), then i have to do the same thing on the other computer.
