Yes i know and thanks for the advice but i'm not new in programming got lots of experience in php and java What bothers me is that i can't get it started i installed Sql server 2000 with the windows Authentication system,also use this in my webConfig file After a small search i found out i have to set up the app in the iis with the same authentication protocol [thought that this was the solution] No, i got still the same So nobody in this great site has ever seen "Data source not found" in their server explorer in visual studio?i do the search ...no results it's always "data source name not found or driver..." i hate microsoft:mad: Please help thnks

i connected to the database regularly ok ?added the database through server explorer the connection string sqlConnectionString="data source=127.0.0.1;Trusted_Connection=yes" and and i get "data source not found" right below my SQL Server name ,in the Server Explorer[v.Studio 2003] i use Windows Authentication Where did i go wrong? Hi there i have a asp.net app and i can;t make it work on my machine IIS is working SQL server 2000 is on i have attached the database through visual studio 2003 i have access to it but in thew servers panel i get data source not found though i can modify my db and i can browse the .aspx files but ofcourse i have no communication with the database,so nothing works... i 'm fresh to asp and i really need your help thanks ninja coding

hey there i use transparent canvas on my pics ,in order to use a fine background template i made in mozilla everything is great (again) but in IE(6) i get a gray img bgrnd ,that covers up the page backround i use fireworks 8 for image editing Is there a body{} or html{} css rule that will solve this problem thanks (i hope i'm in the right message board for this) P.

o yes it works after all...sorry but if u have the time please browse this demo from Ie and mozzila and see the difference on the right side of my content-scrollbar- http://boatguide.gr/view.php?cat=2 if i place another div in the right of my main table it goes right on top of the scrollbar in IE offcourse,in mozzilla everything is smooth as always Any css advise would be much appreciated thanks for your time

yeah the scroll works but i don't have a bar!! the div is scrollable with no bar in IE6 i think it looks cool but as i was fooled ,i'm sure my visitors also will be and will not try to scroll any comments?
