There are just too many possibilities with that letter combo. Got luck that I could narrow it down

I'm currently in a role where I mostly support legacy apps (C# and SQL), try to pass on knowledge and let the "young kids" write new apps in Flutter - which I've been though an introductory course on, so can read it, though I've never written anything but the tutorial app. Some of the issues are interesting (obscure bugs due to rare edge cases), but most of it is repeat problems where the user has done something wrong and needs it reversing. At my age, I've no intention of taking on anything new and will probably stop if the interesting stuff becomes too infrequent or, of course, if I win the lottery! :)

Nah. Pkfox will post Monday's clue since he solved your Friday one. If you're first to solve it you're up next. Don't be shy, I've posted some doosies when I was a newt - but I got better. As pkfox said, setting is much harder than solving and like most things you learn best by doing. Try, fail, try again, fail better.

Run the first session full screen (or windowed almost to full screen) and the nested sessions windowed slightly smaller. Move the taskbar on each layer to a different side of the β€œmonitor” Workstation: Bottom taskbar Jump Server: Left taskbar DMZ Servers: Right taskbar We do similar things where each login is a different userid. I prefer windowed at each layer so my password manager/powershell script can send the untypable, constantly-rotating passwords to the lock screens. Running in full screen blocks β€œsend keys” functionality.

Thanks for explaining what I feel; but exactly that. Bastard Programmer from Hell :suss: "If you just follow the bacon Eddy, wherever it leads you, then you won't have to think about politics." -- Some Bell.

I think I found the link on LinkedIn and wondered what idiot would write such an article. Checked the author. "Ah..." Anyway, I already pitched the idea to my customers and they love it. I don't use google search but I have not searched for any of the items on that list. I usually search for how to disable/enable Windows features (like Copilot), game and product reviews and lots of Youtube DIY videos. Most of the articles I read are from forums I frequent.

Not too worry. You admirably filled the gap. I think it was a good clue, I just didn't see it. Welcome to the CCC! It's good to get a new face in the mix. I don't usually solve them for the "official" game. It's generally played from 8:00am to 12:00pm UK time, which is 3:00am to 7:00am my time in the central US. I try to solve all of them, and have a close to 60-70% success rate but the game is usually over by the time I'm awake. But every now and then I'll make it in.

jschell wrote: You should be able to use your hand to figure out which of those is right. True. What I prefer with Open Hardware Monitor is that it writes its data to WMI, which I then read back with another tool to display a graph of temperature over time (and combine with the same data from other systems). Core Temp only exports its data to a log file (although I could still work with that if I really, really wanted to)... But if the data's inaccurate, being able to plot pretty graphs with it is kinda useless. :-)
