Well, of course I am (hopefully) exaggerating about "eventually the world," but "By extending the definition of 'terrorism' and using the 9/11-incited patriotic fervor, the U.S. will expand its military dominion" is my definite opinion, I'm afraid. The comment about "shadow government" (note the quotes) was simply because every time I say "Bush wants to do this" or whatever, I realize he's not intelligent enough and that it's really Cheney/his advisors/etc. Those are the only real un-intelligent things I think I may have said there... And the gulf definitely seems to be the administration's goal, IMO because of the oil, and of course to finish what pappy started. I can see Afghanistan, sure. Iraq, only because they're close to having nukes and they have a reason to use them. But beyond that? No. It's not our job to go an install a "regimine change" wherever we disagree with the ethics or politics of this or that petty dictator, or say that's our reason to the citizens but really just invade for their oil. And of course I hope you're not implying that different political opinions make for lack of intelligence, right? ... Finally, a relief from the stupid people around me! An intelligent conversation! :omg:
