You should only solicit a response from people in countries who play the dammed game, US for instance does not play it and I'd bet less that 5% have any idea about the game. 5 days for a test match - :zzz: :zzz: 1 day matches - these can be fun to watch. 4 hours for 20/20 - I've never actually watched one of these

Oh I think crickets are quite interesting, but they look a lot like cockroaches. It's also easy to confuse a cricket with a grasshopper. I believe, like cockroaches, crickets prefer dark shady areas as their eyes are more attuned to darkness. There's a fan club for crickets? Cool, I would never have guessed, though nowadays, you can find anything on the web, right? I wonder if they include some spicy cricket recipes? Skill has nothing to do with the quality of the shotgun. Though you have people like two of my uncles (the other 4 are almost as avid a set of hunters turned clay shooters) who are simply fanatics. One of them owns a custom built Perazzi shotgun that cost him $14,000 USD at the time, and that was almost 12 years ago. He's got 3 walls in his house simply littered with trophies of all sorts, and all over the house he's got murals of many animals. He lived in Africe (Cote D'Ivoire) for more than 20 years and according to him, that was the best past time there was. I looked up Miroku and they've got a dealer locally. I think I'll check them out and see what I can get that can be labeled a deal. Do you think I could buy a shot gun from the US or Europe and ship it here? Hmmm.. damn it, I've got too much to do and so little time to do it in!

One of our shooters was interested in a Krieghoff and in the states it was the same price in dollars as in pound sterling so he was asking about getting it in America and apparently what you can do is "buy" the gun in the UK but what actually happens is the money goes dircetly to the States to pay for the gun and then that store ships it to the dealer in the UK and they are then responsible for the importing. Sometimes you're charged for the delivery and/or a handling fee but apparently quite often they'll do it for free. Perhaps there's something similar in Jordan. BTW, I might be biased by I like the Mirokus, and they're reliable. A friend sold one and met up with the guy he'd sold it to 20 years later. The only thing gone wrong with it was that the firing pins had to be replaced, not because they broke or anything they'd riveted up from firing so many cartridges and couldn't reach the cap anymore.

I'm pretty sure there is and I'm also sure that there will be a "reasonable" mark up on it. After that it ought to be a matter of weeks until they get here. I'm going to look into it really soon, just as soon as I have a few hours to myself.
