Unfortunately, my kid sister just walked into the room. Let's just say that living with a stripper brings its own unique set of adventures to the table. :)

I was chatting with a co-worker over IM today. I was laughing so hard at part of our conversation, that I just feel compelled to share it here! Me: Creating UIs is like hanging out with cool, hot, fun ladies. Working databases is like square dancing with female truckers. Him: I prefer the middle tier. You get to talk with the ladies but can run away when they start asking for too many gifts.

The problem with the cool, hot, fun ladies is they are always changing what they wear. These wardrobe changes don't add any substance to who they really are. They just make someone excited because they can drag them around (AJAX) now or they are in a video (Silverlight).

So, I assume that there's also the Thai Ladyboy option - the VB 6 upgrade.

Deja View - the feeling that you've seen this post before.

Well at least us geeky chicks are in good company ;). Fine, hottie chicks tend to be more about themselves and less about you. Sometimes the eye-candy belays the lack of true empathy for the user experience, when referring to sexy UIs.

Well at least us geeky chicks are in good company ;). Fine, hottie chicks tend to be more about themselves and less about you. Sometimes the eye-candy belays the lack of true empathy for the user experience, when referring to sexy UIs.

Sometimes just being a user is good enough. ;)
