Idiots messing up google searches

 OMG nope, there's no way to resize an image. and there's no chance my company would sell tools and toolkits to do it. and there's no way i'd put links to those things in my signature. nope. no way.

Your response shows it was unnecessary. ;)
You should always take the opportunity of learning our rich and varied language, it's nuances and idiom, so that you can insult people in the nicest possible way!

:sigh: I hope your being sarcastic, because his original post was a joke. Y'know? because even ms paint can resize an image, and he quoted the text saying he was looking for a tool to resize... do you get it? Come on, you've got to!

OK, I assumed he really wanted a tool to do this, and some people aren't aware of what's available. Just trying to be helpful...

Thats true, I only ask after I have exhausted other means, how else do you learn if you don't do it.

Example, yesterday; I have my own print engine developed in .net, I've just implemented a feature called PassThrough (using GDI Escape Functionality), which willl enable to send PRESCRIBE commands to Kyocera MFPs. We have had a finisher added to our MFP which will sort, stack, pucnch and staple documents/reports. After 8 hours working on sending various commands to do the finishing part of the document processing, I finally gave up and contacted Kyocera, rhe tech. guy there said that he has the same MFP configuration was able to replicate the problem, which I explained, the 'finishing' subsbet of the PRESCRIBE commands were being ignored my the Kyocera OS on MFP, which he prompted replied back agreeing there was a problem and he was exculating it up to the development divsion. So 8 hours of pounding away at trying to get it working, consulting manuals, docs etc. I didn't give up hope until I had every avenue checked, when I knew the problem has hardware, only then did I contact the relevent parties. During the course of the day I did learn a whole lot about PRESCRIBE and MFPs :).

I was just trying to help the person who was looking for an image-resizing tool. Someone else made an obviously incorrect assertion (without nuance or idiom), and I corrected them.

You have also missed a part of his post. Look at Chris signature in his first reply (it's more obvious there) ;)

Been doing research into image manipilation over the last few days , and mostly I want to try out a basic tool that does resizing(constraining purportions) and cropping) now every time I type in keywords like shareware, freeware I end up at stupid portal sites that has a list of free to download(asif every second website charges for the bandwidth for downloads) but $9-per month licence download links  yet they still use the words free and shareware in their keywords and content words!!! Google should ban these sites completely off this planet!!!

Do you also correct people telling jokes because they do not correspond to reality?

there are no such tools
Unfortunately, with no many idiotic signatures now in place, I have basically stopped reading them... so without being told to look specifically at your signature, I would not have noticed that you provide such tools. Sort of like... Google gives useless links because of the amount of garbage out there; hard to find the golden egg in the manure pile.

no there isn't
Look, troll, shut up already. I know this guy named Chris Losinger, right, and all he does is write image resizing tools and they rock. He is a sarcastic SOB but hell, he can resize images. Damned trolls!

I think since joining CP I've asked about half a dozen questions, my questions have been answered by: 1. Looking through documentation. 2. Using forums... newsgroups. 3. Looking through samples. 4. Disassembly. 5. Trial and error That's why I'm negative, people want the answers handed to them on plate, if you are prepare to look, the chances are remember the answer for future and you'll learn something new at the same time.

 I even started replying..., Indian newbies are hard work, they should be cracked around the skull for asking even the most simplistic of answers without researching first.
