If only you could debug a woman...

What would you fix?

I would set a breakpoint on the
GettingAngry
event, which would pause the execution and allow me time to think of a good apology :-\ Actually I can't think of any trait that is common to *all* women that needs to change. Well apart from the aging process, but that's a man problem too "For fifty bucks I'd put my face in their soup and blow." - George Costanza

Listening is one thing - but when you can't make full sense of the output, the DEBUG feature would reveal the internal processes.

Skirting the kid sister rule here, but I'm hoping she's a suck up. (Make your own jokes here).
Deja View - the feeling that you've seen this post before.

Well, I think I'd insert a subroutine into Salma Hayek to find me absolutely irresistible. Apart from that, nothing - because women are wonderful and should be cherished.

Well, I was going to go with the Minogue, Cruz, Hayek triumvirate but your list is good too.

Because they are irreversibly broken...? ;)
That's the rule #1 with women; when we kvetch at you about something we just want to kvetch. We are not looking for your solution on how to fix the problem. Just hear us out and follow up with "I told you that beatch was crazy!" (Chris Rock fans will get this one.)

More unit testing, please!

You should see the one my Hubby did that is similar. I have several locations for "clothes" yet he picks out most of my outfits--I just don't get rid of anything. I also have several areas for "magazines" yet he's always asking, "Do we have the new US Weekly?" At least he put a chunk for programming.

I would fix it so they couldn't run faster than me. Right now, there aren't too many I can catch. As it is, I can only hope to draft the ones using walkers so if they make a mistake in a turn, I can easily overtake them.

The Woman kernel actually functions pretty well, aside from certain limitations of the thread scheduler that preclude making anything happen in real time. I especially like the
ChoclateAndFlowers
interrupt - very handy that. Some of the user level stuff could use a little work. There's a nastyAnyNewsOnTheJobFront
loop that can happen in the Mother extension when the offspring starts working contract. There doesn't seem to be a timeout on this one. Not a show stopper, but takes up cycles. There's also a nasty crash in theMaleFogotMyBirthday
routine that can happen in GirlFriend mode, or when running Wife.ChoclateAndFlowers
is helpful here, but you still need permissions - this one has been known to Blues Scream. Debugging Woman is inherently difficult, due to the non-determinisic threading model, and should be limited to high level break points such as "How was your day, honey?". Do not rely on Edit and Continue for things like "I'm going down to the pub with the guys", and take anything you see in the call stack with a grain of salt. Calls toDiscount
orSaleToday
rarely show up in anything but the system logs or possibly event viewer, depending on purchase authorization. Treat Woman with R-E-S-P-E-C-T and you should have no problems. Make sure the garbage collection routines are run frequently, and proper cleanup is performed after invoking any personal applications client side. Do try and get some good hardware - there are some units that will tend to expand ifChoclateAndFlowers
is overused, and can overheat after a certain period. Lastly, make it perfectly clear that you know she's just perfect, and you wouldn't change a thing. Even if you could. :rose: -

You're right. These facts that you've laid out totally contradict the wild ramblings that I pulled off the back of cornflakes packets.
