Is Stargate real ? if so why Nasa uses expensive Rockets to go to other Planets. I love astronomy. Finding life in other planets its very interesting for me. i came across a Series in TV that's called Stargate SG1, i forever wondered if there was something like that. I have a third way to look at it... If it exists, and allowed a TV show about it, then if newspapers ever tried to publish anything about it the government could discredit the papers by responding that the journalist has been watching too much TV. Not that this contradicts your conclusions, but I sometimes wonder :) Chris
You'v been watching to much of that serie, there was an episode where they did just that, allowed a tv-show to be made so that they could deny any existence when the press published it :) (o darn I'v been watching it too much aswell I guess ;P )

I think so, there's one in the Coronation Tap in Bristol (serves very strong cider) that opened up to my room back when I was at University. At least, that's the best explanation I've got for getting home...

Yes, we have hundreds of gates on the planet, but they are all forgotten and unused scattered across the English countryside. Back when the Druids ruled they used the gates to travel about, and not being all that creative they called them 'abouts'. As time passed they were used as markers for people travelling across land. When asking for directions you might be told 'you go from about here to about there, ...'. As a result roads sprang up between abouts. More time passed and the Druids died off. People forgot how to use the abouts and most fell over. However, from time to time, you'd still get incoming events so people learned not to go within the fallen abouts. Now when asked for directions you might be told 'you go around this about then around that about there, then ...'. Over time language changed and 'around this about' and 'around that about' became condensed to 'roundabout'.
