What if everyone here signs up for a Twatter account with the sole purpose of creating Twits that contain the word "snarkelfeld"? Surely we could have this fixed in an hour or two?

time for everyone to use the word "snarkelfeld" - don't know what it means, but anything to knock off "Web 2.0"

It's depressing that Web 2.0 is the millionth[^] word, rather than something less crappy.

It's not even a word. Notice the space.....

You're making a common mistake. Spaces do not denote the ends of words; they're just a reading/writing aid.

Nice, and I thought I was the only one who thought it was stupid. Isn't it a bit like saying "Window Cleaner" is a word? How does that work?

"Window" and "cleaner" are being used as complementary attributive nouns, which means that it's difficult to see which one is acting as the noun, and which attributively as the (perhaps postmodifying) adjective. That makes them a "compound noun" or "phrasal noun", which is grammatically a single word. Next question.

at least slumdog is one word. I don't buy the "phrasal noun" garbage. But either way 2.0 isn't a valid word in itself.

There's a sandwich bar in Rotterdam which proudly, in huge letters, declares that it serves "EVERYDAY FRESH SANDWICHES". I haven't the heart to tell them that "everyday" means mundane and boring, and that they mean "every day". You used it correctly, though. English grammar is nothing if not boring.
