I just got a wee message from Pete asking where I was and what I was upto these days. I'm still around. I'm not dead yet. I've had a rather eventful year and I pretty much executed a handbreak turn on my life and I'm now going in a new (and finally, the correct) direction. Now the screaching of tyres has ceased and the smoke has cleared. Long story short, I finally figured out what was wrong in my life: I was in denial which was causing me mental stress. I have now accepted who I am and have come out the closet. I also found a boyfriend who is loving and caring and we are trying to build a life together. I did like Kevin Rudd, but not so much nowadays and certainly less than Julia Gillard. :-D I definitely didn't see it coming though. I chalked that up to my almost complete lack of interest in politics at first, but it seems to have been unexpected for all. ;P
