Did Julian Assange Rape These 2 Women

You'll be relieved to hear that I know that, but actually, most of the time, I was judging their actions. It is cowardly to hide behind 1's for instance. Whatever motives they use to justify their actions really is of very little interest to me. You're correct, I believe, when it comes to Trollslayer. But then again, in the years I have been around here, I have seen enough of her posts, and read enough of her blog, to have a pretty good grasp of her political persuasion. The reason I didn't turn voting on in Soap Box 1.0 is that I have found consistently that it cheapens debate, and allows the folks who cannot defend their convictions to think that they are the equals of those who, like you, can and do speak up. So, I hate to break it to you, but you can't read minds, either. ;)
"I am for doing good to the poor, but I differ in opinion of the means. I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it. In my youth. I have observed in different countries, that the more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves, and of course became poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves, and became richer." ~ Benj Franklin

Thanks Pete. There are folks who can disagree, even strongly, by voicing their convictions. And then there are the little bunnies who hide behind the voting mechanism. A 1 from them, I would venture to guess, is high praise, like 5 from a grown up; but I appreciate a grownup's 5, all the more.

No probs. Glad to help.
I'm not a stalker, I just know things. Oh by the way, you're out of milk.

Unlike yourself, I haven't been pretending I could.

How pray tell do you know I have been pretending to read minds? Did you, perhaps, tread my mind? Truly, I expected better from you.

ROFL. Ninety percent of my posts are unavailable to you since they are in a private forum. You are a fraud I am an idiot. Occasionally a paranoid idiot. Marcus, my sincere apologies for totally misunderstanding you. Mea Culpa, mea Culpa, mea maxima culpa!

I expected nothing better from you and was not disappointed. In fact, I expected this exact response. I've had enough of this noise.

Wow, you must be a superb mind-reader! But I balanced the 1 someone gave you with a 5. I never vote 1's and you at least have the balls to speak up.

I thought that, at least in the U.S. of A, a man was presumed innocent until proven guilty. You seem to be saying that the law has become that the accusation of rape (at least by a prosecutor) is tantamount to a finding of guilty - reminds me of the Red Queen: "Sentence first, then the trial!" (I am not saying you're wrong, by the way.)

Noticed that, have you? Amazing how often the concept of an equal playing field quickly becomes "let's give the advantage to the other side!"

innocent untill proven guilty applies to countries that have thier laws based on the English, europe however base them on Germanic/Napolionic, this would mean adversarial where once you enter the court room you are not guilty or innocent it is upto each side to argue the case and the judge/jury decides which they believe(like the look of, feel sorry for etc etc) so the idea that he is innocent untill proven guilty is wrong as he choose a country that doesnt work that way.
You cant outrun the world, but there is no harm in getting a head start Real stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time.

I founded Soap Box One as a place where people could have civil discourse - or semi-civil discourse, at least, and where trolls would be denied access. Had you actually looked up my posts, you would have discovered that you were denied access to them since entrance to SB1 is not permitted without approval. Had you even accessed my profile, you would have discovered I was the moderator of SB1 and not needed to ask this question. Your claim of looking at my posting record is an out-and-out lie, and you, sir, are a fraud. I am an idiot. Occasionally a paranoid idiot. hey Napolean was a friend of your lot not ours, you adopted the drive on the wrong side so it highly possible that you may have adopted the legal system as well

We drive our cars on the left; you drive your countries on the left. Perhaps we should both switch to see if it lessens the number of crashes?
