Did no-one at Disney not spot this?

If your brain can translate that bloated, mis-shapen image into 'the pertest of bottoms' then you need to get out more. I'm to the point where I'm about willing to take up a collection to get you laid - because if it's affecting your eyes this way it is a de facto medical emergency.

Maybe you're looking to hard. It isn't an optical illusion. It was obvious to me, and two friends I've just shown.
Actually, I suspect that many optical illusions work only with specific brain types. I vaguely recall from a paper I read decades ago that this isn't a theory original with me. My vague memory is that in experiments, some people never saw the illusions, others saw them after prompting and some only saw the illusions (either from the original sighting or after being shown it.) I suspect other factors are how the drawing was done, as in color, photograph, line drawing, etc..

I call them optical conclusions.

The Lion King[^] Who else can see the young lady with the pertest of bottoms wearing only a tiny pair of pants and holding her arms in the air? Tugs the old Chordae Tendineae doesn't it.

I think that is a valid and good suspicion.
