It was a different company, but essentially a Comedy Channel-like organization wrote (made-up) the article in the first place. Think of Onion News. So, if you can imagine a thousand forum threads smouldering like this one, you've already imagined said debate.

It might be rants like this that make some people think atheists have it coming. There's no need to bully the people who believe in bronze age sky pixies, Dionysus the god of wine, or Xenu. Also, there are lots of children with imaginary friends and/or intellectual disabilities who never go around killing people. Though you might not know that from drinking Mountain Dew in your parents' basement.
