A lot of these people work in places where people are very sensitive, so they learn how to swear and cuss silently.

...OK, that might be pushing it a little. As I mentioned in my last post, I was presenting at a mini-conference yesterday. One of my customer's sneaked out after my talk. I went for a walk to the lobby of the hotel where we had a room a little while later, and there she was, working on her laptop. And using my software. No complaints, no compliments, just getting on with her job doing work with tools I created. Sometimes it's nice to be in software! Iain.

I knew my self satisfied feeling couldn't last! The person involved was a lady though, and they're too nice to swear...? Iain.

Always nice to know that what you spend time working on is actually useful to someone.
