Is a programmer one who prefers the metric system?

As long as the ruler isn't "duct taped / duck-typed", the tick marks don't randomly change spacing, and there are clearly designated numeric units (that also don't change value), and it stays a ruler and doesn't disguise itself as a rectal probe, I don't if it's metric or Vulcan.

Actually, I thought a programmer was someone who got paid for pointing out that you split an infinitive.

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, navigate a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects! - Lazarus Long

Well that's just your 2 scents.

"the debugger doesn't tell me anything because this code compiles just fine" - random QA comment "Facebook is where you tell lies to your friends. I am not the one who knocks. I never knock. In fact, I hate knocking.
