Sorry, I've never been to a white supremacist rally. What year did this begin?
The Beer Prayer - Our lager, which art in barrels, hallowed be thy drink. Thy will be drunk, I will be drunk, at home as it is in the tavern. Give us this day our foamy head, and forgive us our spillage as we forgive those who spill against us. And lead us not to incarceration, but deliver us from hangovers. For thine is the beer, the bitter and the lager, for ever and ever. Barmen.

When they push their views, particularly religious views, upon others around them - they violate one of the great principles upon which this country was founded. They are destroying a supporting foundation of the greatness - and thus not only hate it but are its enemy. And, of course, those that want to buy an arsenal of weapons, hold up in some compound (in Idaho, perhaps?) and decide they don't have to live by the laws of the land - and got the weapons to defend the right to be separatists (how is that different, than, say, islamic seperatist anywhere else in the world?). Pick and choose amendments and rights for others? They hate this country. They want to make it into something else - and it's not into anything good - except of course for them.

Um, yeah, that's what a minority of these people believe for sure, but what does that have to do with hating your country? Why does insisting on having your (perceived) rights mean you hate your country? People who live in free countries and demand freedoms are taken away....that's who hates their country.

I think it's relatively important because your hero, President Barack Obama, prominently flew the "Betsy Ross" flag at his inaugurations. I like pointing out your endless hypocrisy.

Right-wing religious asswipes have, for example, put obstacles and are trying remove a woman's right to chose to have a baby or not (even when their papa raped them). Pushing your religious views on others who don't share them, especially trying to legislate it, is trying to undermine the very fabric of the nation. And as for what religion the country was founded on - the fact that the FIRST amendment forbids the establishment of any religion for the country shows the founders wise enough to understand every step towards theocracy is, indeed, a step towards hell. If you're a big 2nd Amendment supporter, perhaps you'll figure out part of the reason for the second amendment is to allow defense of the FIRST amendment! As for the arsenal nuts? You claim it's just a few - but they do get more headlines then just regular boring people. Is it really inconceivable to you that most liberals are similarly far more mainstream then the ones who make the news and talk-show circuit? Hopefully, if you don't get it yet, you'll eventually realize that everyone's shit stinks. And as far as making America great, again? That will occur when we get a president who is more dedicated to serving the country than serving himself. We see the crap that a lying cheating narcissist is doing - he tells you it's wonderful in his pre-K version of English and you really want it to be true.

You don't have to be religious to be anti-abortion, and as far as I know if abortion is legal or not isn't a particularly partisan issue. Not in a pure sense anyway, it has been an artificially partisan issue since Nixon. Outside of the US (here in the UK just to give one example I'm personally familiar with) it's not a party political issue at all. Women should be allowed abortions and that's that, all parties pretty much agree.

It's not what is conceivable, there are studies that show right-wing people are generally centre right with the obvious outliers, and liberals have shifted greatly toward the extreme left. Here's one study http://assets.pewresearch.org/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2017/10/05162647/10-05-2017-Political-landscape-release.pdf You'll probably find articles that break it down a bit, that's a hell of a read. Exactly! We saw the same mentality with a small portion of the right when Obama was POTUS (and before that with a small portion of the left under Bush II) but today's American left is taking their hatred to an entirely new level. They even blame Trump for their own hatred.

I have to admit I find it difficult figuring out what false assumptions about me you are basing your statements on. I suspect your thought process went something like this: Nike "caved" to the overwhelming pressure of Kaepernick - 'The power of Kaepernick compels you!'. I said I thought Nike made the right choice. Therefore, I must believe that any use of the Betsy Ross flag is forbidden. It must follow that I must be retroactively opposed to Obama's use of the flag during his inauguration. (As an aside, you never bothered to show that neo-Nazis were using the flag back then.) As bizarre as that thought process is, it's the only one I can come up with that explains your curious belief that I am a hypocrite.

Before the oath, Trump has managed to surpass 2nd term Nixon for paranoia, 2nd term Reagan for corruption & 2nd term Bush for incompetence.--R. Schooley Frank Wilhoit: “Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition …There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.” The president fired the FBI director to obstruct a federal investigation into possible collusion with a foreign power to fix an election. - Jesse Berne
Lefties love SJWs. Nearly all SJWs are hardcore leftists. Kaepernick is today's most iconic anti-American, race baiting, identity politics SJW. When he whines to Nike it's backed up by a large contingent of leftists and their pet media. He and them and you believe that neo-Nazis have somehow co-opted the Betsy Ross flag. I have no idea where any of you folks got this idea. It's ludicrous. Don't Nazis also use the number 88 for some symbolic reason? Have they co-opted that number? Should it be stricken from the record of all documents? Should sports team ban it from jerseys? NO! That would be ridiculous and everybody with more than 1/2 a brain understands that. If you recall, you made this claim about the neo-Nazis and the Betsy Ross flag but have backed it up with nothing. My first few posts on this thread were simply questions asking when this happened. You refused to answer. Make a claim with no evidence and refuse to answer any questions about it - vintage Majerus... hell, vintage leftist. The reasons I asked about the timing were 1) I'd never heard of it and 2) I knew President Obama used the flag during his presidency and found it odd that a black man would do that if in fact it were true. So the logic goes like this... Kaepernick and your ilk make this shit up (or give WAY MORE credence to neo-Nazi symbolism than it deserves). Despite it being a simple athletic shoe that has nothing to do with anything and despite Nike having no record of white supremacy BS y'all pressure them into killing it. None of you acknowledge that your favorite POTUS of all time used the very same flag for equally benign reasons within the last decade and you said... nothing. Hypocrites... all.
Barmen.
