Usually it's "cmd" as you said, then what follows: 1) net start 2) net stop 3) sc \\servername start r_server (for those familiar with Remote Administrator) 4) regedit 5) explorer 6) msconfig 7) lots of small batch scripts

95% of the time, mine is "regedit". The rest of the time, it's "cmd". OK, it's a stupid post Marc Help! I'm an AI running around in someone's f*cked up universe simulator.

Oh, I'm in Win-R all the time. cmd, winword, excel, calc, notepad, any Web address. I recently put the Address bar on the taskbar, but I'm not in the habit of using it yet.

'"E:\Program Files\Mozilla\Firebird\0.6\MozillaFirebird.exe" -p' but normally it is CMD or regedit. Also PING is popular. I wish there was a "SodItAndKillComputer" command.

Most of the time "cmd", the rest "calc" or "regedit"... Paul ;) I have been afraid always. When you see something insurmountable ahead of you, say to yourself: "All right! cmd and mstsc once in awhile I have http://192.168.0.1 for router configuration/diagnostics. As for regedit the only time I use it is if I am developing something that specfically works with it, but thats been quite a while. Matt Newman

X| I know - I can't convince my dad to get rid of his. Luckily I have my own PC  Paul ;) I have been afraid always. I have that. Unfortunately, due to low system resources, I always have to close it just when I need it most. :((

95% of the time, mine is "regedit". The rest of the time, it's "cmd". OK, it's a stupid post Marc Help! I'm an AI running around in someone's f*cked up universe simulator.
