Since there are two of you strategically located, I guess Tom gets to handle promoting it in the western hemisphere and you're in charge of the eastern, eh? :-) By the way, based on what I've heard, this is the first techie book I've been excited about in a long time. As a die hard MFC guy, it'll be great to bolt on all the .NET stuff without having to give up the horsepower of a language that doesn't say "no". I wouldn't say suit wearing was the norm in the UK software industry. It's only likely if you meet customers or work for the software section of a bank. My wife reckons that Australia is more strict on suit wearing and smart dress.

Have you guys taken the Queen off your currency yet? I keep forgetting to ask my uncle who has lived down there for 35 years or so now. I loved it when that whole argument about The Queen being sovereign was raging. Bloody silly, but then I'd behead her and her whole entourage if I could get away with it

At the moment we get a public holiday in June to celebrate the Queen's birthday (this is nowhere near the real date of her birthday BTW). A nice long weekend. At the last vote for a Republic, no mention was made of the Queen's birthday public holiday being replaced with a Presidents Day publc holiday. Vote failed to get the numbers. Hence...we need the Queen or we lose a public holiday. :) Jeff Green - Greentrees All pigs fed and ready to fly jefgre@tpg.com.au MSN: jefgre@tpg.net.au
